Stears Haulage obtained the FORS Silver accreditation in 2016 and have alarge amount of experience of delivering into central London utilising this award.
Stears Haulage have previously been involved in several large scale construction projects with FORS requirements. We recently completed a large project to Cambridge over a period of 18 months to construct a new hospital.
This accreditation also allows us to deliver to sites with CLOCS requirements.
All our vehicles are fitted with audible left turn warning systems, side sensors, relevant safety signage, additional blind spot minimisation mirrors/cameras on our HGV’s and sidebars on all our trailers. This enables us to comply with the fall arrest system requirements, keeping individuals safe when offloading the goods.
Furthermore all of our drivers have completed the Vulnerable Road User Training course in London, a very valuable learning experience for our drivers.
The safety of all road users is of primary importance to us as an organisation. An essential part of the scheme is the regular review process of current practices and to strive for continual improvement in relation to our safety procedures.
